Our Town

Our Town •

Kennedy Tolson recently took part in an inaugural fundraiser reading of Thornton Wilder's Our Town at Huron Station in Los Angeles, sharing the stage with a remarkable ensemble that included Robert Downey Jr., Kaitlyn Dever, Melanie Lynskey, John Cho, Julia Duffy, Rosemarie DeWitt, Harold Perrineau, and many others. The stripped-down production brought the beloved American classic to life in a raw, collaborative setting that highlighted the power of Wilder's storytelling without theatrical artifice.

For Kennedy, getting to work alongside performers she has long admired from afar was both a delight and an invaluable education. Watching such seasoned actors bring their craft to the table, finding fresh nuance in familiar lines and building authentic connections in real time, turned the evening into more than just a performance. It became a masterclass in the art of storytelling, and Kennedy felt genuinely honored to help breathe new life into Grover's Corners alongside such talented company.

Deceived

Deceived •

Kennedy Tolson made her professional theatre debut as Nancy in Deceived, written by Isaac Gómez and directed by Delicia Turner Sonnenberg at The Old Globe. Her run spanned August 9 through September 7, 2025, with an extension through September 14, marking an unforgettable first experience on a major regional stage.

The production was a gripping and emotionally charged exploration of truth, trust, and survival. Bringing Nancy to life alongside such an extraordinary creative team made this milestone especially meaningful, and Kennedy was deeply honored to be part of the world of this powerful play.

Indian Princesses

Indian Princesses •

Kennedy Tolson understudied the role of Maisey in Indian Princesses, a world premiere play written by Eliana Theologides Rodriguez and directed by Miranda Cornell at La Jolla Playhouse. She had the opportunity to step in during tech as well as one performance, making it a memorable and meaningful theatrical debut. The production was a hilarious and heartfelt exploration of identity, family, and friendship—an experience Kennedy was honored to be part of.

******* on STARZ

******* on STARZ •

Kennedy made her television debut on UNDISCLOSED STARZ series, playing *******—*** *’* estranged daughter. She had the incredible opportunity to work under the direction of ****** ****, the series’ creator and one of Kennedy’s all-time favorite playwrights. ******’s writing was the first to make Kennedy feel like there was a place for her in the theater—and now, on television too. Filmed in her hometown of Atlanta, the experience felt like a true homecoming. Kennedy learned so much on set and can’t wait to be back.
